First steps for employees

Welcome to the HelloBonnie Wallet. Via your access to the HelloBonnie Wallet, you will receive benefit credit from your employer, which you can then use according to your personal preferences with the HelloBonnie smartcard. You can find out exactly how this works and what you need to pay attention to here!

1️⃣ Registration

Before you can get started, your personal account must be created. You will receive an invitation to register from your employer (e.g. by e-mail). All you need to register is your e-mail address, name, date of birth and mobile phone number. The latter is required to enable secure payment transactions (e.g. for online transactions via 3-D Secure).

Once your registration is complete, your account only needs to be activated by your employer. You will receive an e-mail from us as soon as your account is ready to use. From then on, you can log in to the HelloBonnie Wallet with your e-mail address at https://wallet.hellobonnie.de. You can also access the wallet at any time via the button at the top right on our website.

💳 Activating the HelloBonnie Smartcard

After your first login, you can directly activate your virtual HelloBonnie Smartcard. You can use it for online shopping, but also for purchases at the store counter by adding it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. If you still prefer to have a plastic smartcard for your wallet, you will find an order option in your profile. If this option is not available, your employer has deactivated it.

2️⃣ Receiving credit

Your personal Benefit credit is provided for you by your employer. As soon as new credit is available for you, you will receive a notification from us. You then have the option of choosing the benefit you want.

3️⃣ Assigning credit

We provide you with a large selection of regions and brands (the so-called “Spaces”) that you can use to utilize your credit. You can use as many Spaces as you like. Simply select your desired Space and allocate credit to it.

📍 Regional Spaces

Add regional Spaces to your HelloBonnie Wallet if you want to use your Benefit credit locally and flexibly. You can use credit in regional Spaces at any card terminal within the displayed region (e.g. supermarkets, petrol stations or restaurants). Regional Spaces are independent of our Brand Spaces and also work at small stores in your region. You could use credit in regional Spaces for these things, for example:

• Weekly shopping at the supermarket
• Dinner at your favorite restaurant
• Coffee to go on the way to work
• A relaxing massage from a physiotherapist
• Refueling within your region

📱 Brand Spaces

In our Brand Spaces you will find numerous exciting brands where you can use your Benefit credit in a targeted manner. If you assign credit to a brand, you can use the credit both in the corresponding online application/shop and in the associated local store (if available). A few examples of how you can use the Brand Spaces:

• Deutsche Bahn: You can use deposited credit both online (via app or website), but also at the ticket counter in the station or at the numerous ticket machines throughout Germany
• Uber: As this is an online-only offer, you can only use your credit via the Uber app or website by using “credit card” as the payment method and entering the card details of your HelloBonnie smartcard
• Urban Sports Club: You can also use HelloBonnie for your fitness club by simply adding the smartcard as a payment method. As USC is a monthly subscription, you should make sure that you always have sufficient credit available on your smartcard. As you can also save up credit, this is not a problem.
• ARAL: Use your credit at any ARAL service station in Germany by making contactless payments on site with your cell phone or with the physical HelloBonnie smartcard
