What can I do if a payment did not work?

The HelloBonnie Smartcard is a so-called non-cash benefit card for the use of benefits that are exempt from wage tax and social security contributions. Therefore, the selection of benefits and the restriction logic of the card must be technologically ensured at all times.

  1. please first check whether you have been allocated your Benefit credit in the correct desired region or with the correct brand for which you would like to use the credit.
  2. if you have just received your HelloBonnie card by post, please check whether you have already activated it in the HelloBonnie Wallet on your profile.

If you have checked this and the error occurs again, please contact support@hellobonnie.de. In rare cases, our smartcard may still be learning and reject a transaction in order to rule out the risk of incorrect use.
